Tesla's Auto-Driving Cars

Soon, your Tesla will drive you wherever you want.


All Tesla vehicles are built with the hardware necessary for full self-driving capability, including eight cameras and a computer that sees and hears in all directions. Elon Musk recently confirmed on Twitter that near-future Tesla models will be able to drive you wherever you want, before you even tell it to do so. For example, your car will know that you go leave for work at 7am every morning, and it will handle the rest.

The Nissan Canto Sings To You

“An important element of Nissan Intelligent Mobility is how the vehicle integrates with society, and a crucial component of that is sound,” said Nissan electric cars vice president Daniele Schillaci. 


It’s Nissan’s way of adding a distinctive brand ID to how its EVs sound in the city, as well as giving the safety benefit of an audible alert sound for otherwise silent-running EVs. It won’t be too loud or annoying, either: Nissan promises us it will be clearly audible “without being overly disturbing to pedestrians, residents and passengers”.

The Grand Tour Season 2 Begins Shooting

After a couple of health scares delayed the return of Amazon’s The Grand Tour, hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are back filming the studio tent sections of the show.

The show’s official Twitter account revealed last night that the ‘live’ audience section of the Amazon Prime Video series begin filming today, and James May followed up with a confirmation this morning. 

All eyes on Amazon for news on upcoming air dates.

The UK Driving Test Is Changing!

Currently, learner drivers are encouraged to perform 10 minutes of independent driving but as of December 4, this will be increased to 20 minutes using a satnav or road traffic signs. 

From December 4, the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) have revealed that in addition to mirror, signal, manoeuvring, prospective drivers will have to demonstrate “real life” driving skills if they want to pass their test.
